DSE Workstation Awareness

Objectives:
To ensure candidates complete the course with confidence, to be aware of workplace injuries and recognise early symptoms.
The course is ½ a day in the classroom which includes a practical demonstration of a DSE Workstation Assessment. The training is carried out in accordance with Nationally Accredited Standards.

On successful completion of the course, delegates should be able to:
- Delegates will have an understanding of the course aim and objectives.
- Have a clear understanding of their responsibilities under health & Safety law and other relevant legislation.
- Have an understanding of the principles of Fire, Manual Handling and ill health effects.
- The functions of all components used with DSE Workstations.
- DSE Workstation guidance notes.
- Operator duties and responsibilities.
- Theory and practical assessments.
